Well I’m back at my desk after a couple of days spent wading through Hackney Weekend revellers in their brand new wellies, and despairing England fans whose display of hope over experience never ceases to amaze me.
During all of this, I noticed on Twitter that some enterprising people at Alphyn Industries have designed a pair of jeans with a transparent pocket, thus allowing you access to your phone without having to stand up or exert any energy at all. Useful when there is no opportunity to leap up excitedly to celebrate an England goal.
Apparently you can interact with your device without the need to hold it. Just don’t iron over the pocket.
And they obviously think you shouldn’t need to wear any other clothes at the same time:
The jeans are what I can only call an homage to fighter pilot outfits. The suits with important pockets everywhere you can think of. And now those of us without a pilot’s licence can have our very own pair of trousers with a special pocket on the thigh.
Bet none of the Italian national team own a pair, but then they probably have sensible man bags to carry their phones in …
